I was a bit worried the Latakia would be overwhelming, but it’s perfectly balanced with the sweet Virginia—smokes cool and smooth all the way through the bowl.

The first time I lit this up, the Orientals and Virginias balanced perfectly, with just enough Latakia to keep the room note interesting. It burns clean and slow, lasting a full hour in my medium bowl. Exactly what I was hoping for.

The Orient tobacco gives it a nice complexity, though I wish the Virginia came through a bit stronger. Burns clean and stays lit well for a relaxing smoke.
