Velvet 煙斗煙草

The natural sweetness of this aged Kentucky burley comes through in the first few puffs, and the smoke stays cool even in a deep bowl. It’s the kind of mellow tobacco that makes an evening sit feel right.

The burley in this tin burns nice and cool without any harsh bite, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It packs easily and stays lit well, making it a solid everyday choice. Only wish the moisture level was just a tad higher out of the pouch.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth this burley blend is right out of the pouch—no bite at all. The mild-to-medium strength makes it an easy choice for a relaxing evening smoke, though I wish it had just a bit more complexity to keep me engaged.
