The smoky-sweet Virginias really come through after a few months in the jar, and the cake rubs out to a perfect ribbon for easy packing. Burns slow and cool with a steady, room-filling aroma that’s worth the patience.

The pressed flake slices rub out perfectly without turning to dust, and the natural sweetness from the Virginias keeps the smoke smooth despite all that Latakia.

Adam H. ★★★★★ Oct 21, 2026

The smoky Latakia and sweet Virginia balance in this flake is spot-on; it burns slow and cool in the bowl. The pressing and slicing really brings out a smooth, steady smoke that keeps me reaching for more. Perfect for a relaxing evening.
