Finally tried this and the Nicaraguan blend from Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa hits a perfect balance of rich flavor and smoothness. The construction is solid, drawing evenly all the way through. Exactly what I’ve been looking for in a premium stick.

The reconstruction of that old blend book recipe gives this a depth you don't find in everyday smokes. Burn was even and the draw was perfect, though the final third got a little harsh. Solid choice for a quiet evening.
