Espada من Montecristo

The retrohale is where this one shines—rich, creamy, and completely free of that harsh bite I usually get from Nicaraguans. The ash held firm for a solid two inches, which tells me the construction is spot on. Definitely worth the premium price for a special occasion smoke.

The vintage tobaccos give it a smoothness I wasn’t expecting from a Nicaraguan blend. The draw is a bit tight, but once it opens up, the richness really shines through.

Construction feels solid and the draw is smooth, though I found the flavor profile a bit one-dimensional for my taste. The vintage-aged filler is a nice touch, but at this price point I expected more complexity.
