Picked up the 5th Avenue shape for something a bit different, and the straight black bit feels very clean. The varnished finish on the bowl is smooth to the touch and looks sharp. Already packed a few bowls, and it smokes dry right out of the box.

The maple stain gives this pipe a really handsome, patriotic look without being over the top. Smokes smooth right out of the box, especially with the filter in place.

The maple finish looks nice, but the varnish feels a bit sticky in my hand while smoking. It smokes fine once packed right, though the filtered draw is tighter than I expected from a cob pipe.
