Got a box of these for a weekend trip and the straight rolled tobacco holds its ash better than I expected. The smoke is smooth and earthy, perfect for sitting out on the porch. They lasted about 30 minutes each, which was just right.

Finally, a straight rolled cigar that actually smokes slow and even like the old cheroots in the westerns. These burn clean without a lot of harshness, even down to the nub, which I wasn't expecting from a machine-made.

The draw is consistent from start to finish, which I appreciate in a straight rolled cigar that honors its Kentucky tobacco roots. It’s a solid, no-frills smoke for a casual evening.
